Great Service but Room for Improvement

I enjoyed the attentive service from the staff, who consistently delivered courtesy. However, the shower design in my bathroom was awkward, requiring careful maneuvering to avoid slipping.

Solid location close to key transport routes, making it easy to explore. The rooms provide decent space and cleanliness, meeting the basic requirements for comfort during a stay.

The decor feels dated, furniture needs some serious updating, and there’s a noticeable absence of amenities—no tea/coffee machines or bathrobes in the rooms. Soundproofing isn't effective, allowing for disruptive noise from adjacent rooms and the outside. Breakfast options left a bit to be desired. a salad bar would’ve been a nice touch. To top it off, the pool isn't on-site but situated across the street, which complicates things.

The room was clean and comfy, great location close to shops and transport. Had a lovely outdoor terrace too!

The room was well-equipped and very clean, providing a comfortable stay with lovely toiletries. Staff were outstanding, always patient and helpful, which significantly enhanced our experience. However, the air conditioning wasn’t effective, making it uncomfortable at times, and there was no coffee or tea provided, although a kettle was made available upon request. Additionally, the shared pool area was nice for relaxation, but it was inconvenient having to go across the street.

I had a fantastic stay, highlighted by the exceptionally friendly staff who went above and beyond to assist me. The breakfast buffet offered a great variety, and the pool area was a welcome retreat after long days of exploring. Highly recommend checking out the breakfast when you stay!

my recent stay exceeded my expectations. the room was modern and well-appointed, making me feel right at home. compared to my last stay in barcelona, this hotel felt welcoming and comfortable.

The location was perfect for hitting up the local spots, and we even made time for Tibidabo Amusement Park, which was a highlight. The breakfast was solid with fresh options, and the staff was nice too!

One downside was the strange smell in the room. It felt a bit dated, and the elevator could definitely use an upgrade. Made it a bit awkward during check-in and check-out.

our stay at derby was great! the staff were super helpful, especially when we needed our baggage. the wi-fi was reliable for our meeting back in the uk. we also loved relaxing by the pool after a busy day exploring. it was the perfect way to unwind!

I had a lovely time! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—quiet but easy to access main attractions. The only downside was the noise from the street at night. 💤

I recently spent five nights at Hotel Derby and really enjoyed the location. It’s close to restaurants and has easy access to public transport. The room was clean and comfy, offering a nice outdoor terrace that was perfect for unwinding after a day out. However, the acoustics in the room were terrible. I could hear every little noise from the hallway and adjoining rooms. It made it hard to relax at times. The reception staff were friendly, but I did feel like they were a bit overwhelmed and sometimes missed addressing our requests timely. The breakfast selection was average and could use some variety too. All things considered, a solid stay but there's room for improvement.
